Doris Day, MD, is a board certified dermatologist who specializes in laser, cosmetic and surgical dermatology on the Upper East Side in New York City. She is a clinical associate professor of dermatology at the New York University Langone Medical Center where she was presented with the award for Dedication and Excellence in the Teaching of Dermatology.
She was also listed in the Doctor’s Who’s Who, has won awards for her work in laser research and continues to actively participate in FDA clinical research trials. Dr Day regularly lectures nationally and internationally to her peers and the public. She is generous with her knowledge and insights and lectures around the world to her colleagues and to the general public so that they may be enlightened. She is a maverick in the field of dermatology and is always coming up with new methods and techniques to bring the best outcomes to her patients. She is also, and most importantly, a kind and humble human being who has made the world a better place by being here on earth. She is amazing!

Dr. Doris Day is the complete Dermatology package. Having completed training in internal medicine, she is well rounded in medical dermatology and capable of treating challenging cases, although her main contributions have been in procedural dermatology. In this area, her excellent reputation has transcended our own specialty and she is recognized as an expert in other specialties where she has lectured extensively and even been asked to section edit an issue of Clinics in Plastic Surgery. All that notwithstanding, Dr. Day is an exceptional teacher who stays au courant of the clinical Dermatology literature and at the cutting edge of advances. A superb communicator, she has been an exemplary Dermatology representative in the media,who consistently maintains high professional standards.
Dr. Day is not only an incredibly gifted dermatologist, but she is also a remarkable communicator. I heard Dr. Day lecture at the South Beach symposium. After her lecture, I had quite a few questions regarding how she manages her practice. She answered al of my questions in a patient and thoughtful manager. I was very appreciative for her insight and sincere willingness to be helpful to a colleague.

Dr Doris Day has well deserved personal, professional and media success. She is an asset consulting with or teaching other physicians as well as being able to make concepts understandable by lay people. That and her sincere kindness make her a valued colleague and dear friend.
I whole heartedly support Dr Day as one of the premier dermatologists in the US. She had tremendous skill in aesthetic medicine and is a wonderful communicator. I’ve loved joining her on Doctors radio and admire the ease with which she answers questions in a thoughtful easy to understand manner. It is obvious that she is passionate about her work and both colleagues and patients benefit from this love!!
