James D. Bates, DDS

Dr. Bates completed his postgraduate residency training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and received an additional year of training in surgery at Baylor University Medical Center. Dr. Bates is Certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

In addition, he has served on the faculty of The Texas A&M University System Health Science Center, Baylor College of Dentistry as a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and is active in many professional and civic organizations.
