Dr. Turner received two Bachelor Degrees from the University of California in Santa Cruz in 2002; one in Molecular, Cellular & Developmental Biology and a second in Psychology. She received her degree in Naturopathic Medicine in 2007 from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr Turner is one of the few Naturopaths to have 2 years of residency experience; her 1st year residency was in general medicine with an emphasis on homeopathy, nutrition and environmental and women’s medicine. She then pursued a 2nd year residency with an emphasis on women’s medicine.

She is clearly passionate about naturopathic medicine, and that translates into her devotion to helping her patients. That passion also drives her to be a great teacher to the students at SCNM in her residency position there. I am lucky to have her as a friend and colleague.
Leila is an amazing woman–she is always pleasant, friendly. She never has bad moods. She is incredibly competent, and is hard-working. She is a perfectionist who does everything with detailed focus and our clinic and school has benefited over and over due to her exceptional efforts and work. She is an outstanding physician. Anyone who hired her would be getting gold.
Dr. Turner is a wonder physician overall. She is a strong leader, listener and very attentive to people and patients. She has been a very wonderful person and physician to learn from especially in women’s healthcare. Dr. Leila Turner embodies all the attributes you would like in a doctor. She spends the time to listen to your concerns, she provides solutions that work for you and with your lifestyle, she is knowledgeable yet not arrogant, and best of all she truly cares about her patients. Plus, she respects her patients, so you will not be left in a waiting room for long periods of time or left without the tools you need to achieve your goals. I have been her patient and am her colleague. As her colleague she has been a great resource, always willing to help and share information. I highly recommend Dr. Turner.
