Robert Arnold

Dr. Bob Arnold is one of the most respected specialists in his chosen profession of pediatric ophthalmology. He is well recognized as a national expert in his chosen profession. He is also well reocgnized for being an innovator in many aspects of pediatric ophthalmology, having had to adapt his practice to the unique situation in Alaska caring for children from many miles away. I am proud to have him as a colleague.

Bob’s innovations and research efforts in the field of pediatric ophthalmology are well-known throughout the national community. I have been particularly impressed by his creative thinking on vision screening and clinical uses for computer technology. We are currently debuting his computer program for retinopathy of prematurity screening, which promises to be a great boon to our practice.
