Shane Nelson, DDS

Dr. Shane Nelson graduated in 1989 from John F. Hodge High School in St. James Missouri. He received his B.S. in Biology and Chemistry from Southwest Missouri State University in 1993. In 1997, Dr. Nelson graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry obtaining a Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. After graduating, he worked as an associate dentist until opening a private practice in January 2002.

Dr. Nelson has taken numerous courses in continuing education in the areas of Cosmetic, Biomimetic, Holistic, Laser and Gneuromuscular (GNM) Dentistry. He is a graduate of Occlusion Connections and The Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies (LVI). From August of 2002 through 2009, Dr. Nelson was invited to become a clinical instructor for the Las Vegas Institute. While maintaining a private full-time practice in Overland Park Kansas, he traveled to Las Vegas Nevada 4-5 times a year to instruct dentists from around the world.
