Dr. Stan Heifetz is a native New Yorker and has been practicing dentistry in Manhattan for more than 25 years. After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology from SUNY Binghamton, he earned his D.M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1978. He completed his externship at Einstein Hospital in Philadelphia and his dental residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. After completing his residency, he established a private practice in New York and became an attending staff member of Mt. Sinai Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital teaching restorative and cosmetic dentistry to dental residents.
Dr. Heifetz served in various capacities of the Midtown Dental Society including the Peer Review, Ethics and Political Action Committees. He was named President in 1992 and served on the Board of Directors for two more years.

Claim This ProfileI have known Dr. Stanley Heifetz since he was my student during his dental internship at the Mt. Sinai Hospital Dental Clinic in New York. Over the past 30 years I have worked with him closely in the treatment of many difficult and challenging dental rehabilitations. In all of this time I have found him to be diligent, extremely knowledgeable, technically skillful, personable, empathetic, and caring to his patients. He has developed an artistic sense of cosmetic aesthetics which translates into beautiful smiles and satisfied patients.
