Stuart Hart

I wanted to take a minute to acknowledge what Stuart has been able to accomplish over the years. Background: Stuart was my senior then chief administrative resident at Emory University from 1998-2001. Upon graduation, we both pursued fellowship and were recruited to the same prestigious practice in Atlanta. Since then, Stuart has made significant strides both in academic medicine and surgical/device innovation which has culminated in a host of awards and accomplishments. His acceptance and now semi-completion of his MBA program at MIT speaks volumes of his potential and capacity. I have worked along side Stuart for a number of years, primarily in the realm of surgical education, both at the local/regional level, as well as at the national/international level. He has been recognized by our international societies such as AAGL and AUGS/IUGA as a future leader, all of which we realized while he was still a resident. He is a friend and colleague whose career is really just beginning and I feel fortunate to be able to collaborate with him – as he has always been both friend and mentor to me for over a decade
