As the founder and CEO of Destin Plastic Surgery, Dr. Burden established one of the Southeast's most recognized cosmetic facilities and was involved in all aspects of the practice. He designed its paperless office, developed its digital imaging system, and established the practice management philosophy, in addition to being the original designer of the building in which Destin Plastic Surgery is now located.
People from around the world travel to Destin for the innovative techniques Dr. Burden helped to pioneer, ranging from "No Scar on the Breast" augmentation to endoscopic brow lifts. He is recognized by Mentor Corporation as a leader in breast surgery and is one of only 30 plastic surgeons in the U.S. selected as a principal investigator for an adjustable silicone gel implant.
